As an Indonesian metal and mineral mining holding company headquartered in Jakarta, Merdeka explores, extracts, and produces gold, silver, copper, and other minerals through subsidiaries spread across three islands in Indonesia. Merdeka also has a subsidiary in the field of mining construction services.<\/p>\n<p>Merdeka currently operates three mining sites: <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/merdekacoppergold.com\/en\/our-business\/tujuh-bukit-gold-mine\/\">Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine<\/a><\/span> in Banyuwangi, East Java; the <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/merdekacoppergold.com\/en\/our-business\/wetar-copper-mine\/\">Wetar Copper Mine<\/a><\/span> on Wetar Island, Southwest Maluku; and, commencing operations on 1 October 2025, the <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/merdekagoldresources.com\/en\/\">Pani Gold Mine<\/a><\/span> in Gorontalo, Sulawesi, which will become one of Indonesia&#8217;s largest primary gold mines.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Merdeka is developing the <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/merdekacoppergold.com\/en\/our-business\/tujuh-bukit-copper-project\/\">Tujuh Bukit Copper Project\u2014<\/a><\/span>an underground copper mine in Banyuwangi, which is one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing to innovate, Merdeka developed <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/merdekabattery.com\/en\">Merdeka Battery Materials<\/a><\/span> (MBM), operated the nickel mine and smelters, and integrated with nickel industrial area development in Sulawesi.
