Primary Purpose
Merdeka Copper Gold is a holding company with operating subsidiaries engaging in mining business activities, encompassing the exploration and future production of gold, silver, copper, and other related minerals, and mining services.
Currently we are looking to hire a passionate applicant to join our team as a Site Project Engineer (Electrical).
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the construction progress of the SLNC FPP, Slurry Pipe & HPAL projects;
- Monitor and manage the construction progress of the ESG FPP, Slurry Pipe & HPAL projects;
- Monitor and manage the construction progress of the TMI FPP, Slurry Pipe & HPAL projects;
- Other projects as instructed by your superior systems and applications.
Scope of Work
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Attend daily, weekly & monthly meetings.
- Prepare Minutes of Meeting.
- Review related project expenses.
- Liaise with joint venture partners & contractors.
- Review technical drawing & document.
- Perform QC/QA inspection.
- Implement & enforce safety regulations.
- Check work progress to match project timeline Any other related project work as given by your superior
Educational Requirement
Bachelor in Electrical or Electro-mechanical, manufacture and automation.
Qualification
- Willing to work in-site based with work schedule 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off
- Min 2 years of project management experience, with experience large scale industrial projects. Advantages if have previous experience in mining industry.
- Familiar with commonly used design and office software
- Ability to prepare & review project schedule, monitor progress, quality control and safety management.
- Familiar with design review, construction procedure, engineering management, construction management and commission management.
- Focus on work details and ensure project quality. Be good at effective collaboration with team members to jointly promote project progress. Understand and respect the local culture and regulations.
- Good communication skills, both with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge in Mandarin & English will be preferred.
