The Wetar Copper Mine has started the installation of solar modules as part of an initial green energy generation project. Six hundred solar modules are installed in three rows to supply the Wetar grid. This solar module will reduce the power generated from the diesel generator set, which in turn will reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions in Wetar.
