Job Descriptions:
- Involved with the management of multiple projects involving such as Underground drilling – Surface Drilling – Diamond & RC Drilling – Track Mounted Rigs – Helicopter Supported Rig Moves
- Report to Drilling Operations Advisor related to progress of work
- Communicate and coordination with drilling crews and all site representatives
- Encourage an atmosphere of teamwork among the drilling staff, rig site personnel, service providers and other disciplines
- Provide technical trouble shooting when problems occur on the drilling rig
- Managing Safe Drilling Operations and Ensure all crews on the associated drilling that projects have.
- Maintain a safety working environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as Superintendent Drilling on multi rig projects in both mining and exploration environment.
- Have experience with “Top Head Drive” Drilling Rigs
- Have experience with drilling to depths in excess of 1,000 metres
- Experience in underground drilling would be advantage
- Good knowledge of drilling fluids
- Willing to travel between location as required
