The Manager Processing reports directly to the Principal Met and Process. This position is responsible to look after all metallurgical projects from development to operation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and efficient project work environment
- Lead, direct, manage, and support all metallurgical projects from after flowsheet development to the operation
- Cooperate with Metallurgy Manager to develop the most optimum flowsheet for ore processing
- Produce the most optimum plant lay out from Capex and operability point of view
- Lead equipment sizing and selection including trade off studies of various equipments
- Cooperate with Mine Economist and Metallurgy Manager to provide owner estimate for Capex and Opex of projects
- Actively Participate in HAZOP and HAZID
- Be responsible for plant performance and safety audits when required
- Support other depts, i.e. external affair and company initiatives such as carbon footprint reduction
- Develop, lead and mentor team of process engineer
- Manage and monitor consultants’ deliverables and contracts
- Provide regular reports / presentations to Exco level
