Kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja adalah komponen integral dan terpenting dalam operasi tambang Merdeka. Budaya keselamatan, menghilangkan potensi bahaya, dan mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja merupakan prinsip dasar operasi kami yang kami terapkan melalui berbagai peraturan, prosedur, dan standar, demi mencapai tujuan Kebijakan Keselamatan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, yaitu supaya “setiap orang aman, selalu”.
Untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang sehat, Merdeka mewajibkan karyawan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan setiap tahun. Secara berkala, karyawan juga dapat mengonsultasikan kesehatannya. Setiap karyawan beserta keluarganya diberikan tunjangan kesehatan, akses jaminan kesehatan berupa BPJS (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan) dan asuransi kesehatan untuk rawat jalan dan inap. Merdeka juga mewajibkan setiap kontraktor menyediakan BPJS bagi pekerjanya. Semua indikator Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja dipantau setiap triwulan oleh Komite Keselamatan Merdeka.
Pada 2021, Merdeka membentuk Komite Keselamatan Merdeka dan mengeluarkan Kebijakan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja. Berdasarkan pemantauan rutin, tidak ada kasus penyakit akibat kerja pada 2021. Dalam penanganan pandemi COVID-19, Merdeka telah memvaksinasi 100% karyawan dan kontraktornya (kecuali yang terkendala masalah kesehatan lain).
Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIFR), atau jumlah kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan karyawan tidak dapat bekerja pada 2021 adalah 0,08, lebih rendah dari 0,22 pada 2020. Tidak satu pun kecelakaan tersebut berakhir pada kematian.
Per 31 Desember 2021, Tambang Emas Tujuh Bukit berhasil mencapai 7.348.661 jam kerja tanpa Lost Time Injury (LTI) sejak Desember 2020. Sedangkan Tambang Tembaga Wetar mencapai 14.046.910 jam kerja tanpa LTI sejak Januari 2018. Namun, seiring meningkatnya aktivitas kerja grup Merdeka, angka cedera pada 2021 terbilang cukup tinggi. Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) pada 2021 adalah 0,66, lebih tinggi daripada 0,43 pada 2020, sekalipun tetap lebih rendah daripada rata-rata TRIFR berdasarkan International Council of Mining & Metals pada 2020, yang bernilai 2,94.
Pada 2021, kami berhasil mendapatkan ISO 45001: 2018, sertifikasi Sistem Manajemen Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, dan ISO 14001: 2015, sertifikasi Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan. Kedua sertifikasi tersebut didapatkan oleh PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk, PT Bumi Suksesindo, PT Batutua Kharisma Permai, PT Batutua Tembaga Raya, dan PT Merdeka Mining Servis. Selain itu, Merdeka juga telah melakukan konsolidasi atas Manual Sistem Manajemen Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3).
Setiap anak perusahaan Merdeka yang mengelola operasi tambang secara berkala melakukan pelatihan K3 yang relevan dan kursus yang lebih spesifik dan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan kerja, seperti kursus auditor Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Pertambangan, Perubahan Manajemen, Manajemen Risiko, Sistem ISO dan Auditor, dan Metode Penelitian ICAM.

Cognitive disorders – we utilize a search engine that is linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others.
Additional functions – we provide users the option to change cursor color and size, use a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and many other functions.
Browser and assistive technology compatibility
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible.
