Containing over 6.9 million ounces of gold, the Pani Gold Project is one of Indonesia’s largest gold development initiatives. Located in Gorontalo Province, Sulawesi, the project is designed to progress in phases, ensuring steady growth. The project will start with heap leach processing for initial gold production, followed by an expansion to carbon-in-leach (CIL) processing. At peak production, the mine is projected to yield up to 500,000 ounces of gold per year.
Preparation for the Pani Gold Project is on schedule, with significant progress in design, engineering, and construction, including the production of key equipment and successful completion of heap leach testing. Supporting infrastructure such as fuel storage facilities, the port, and the main electrical switchyard are also underway. PLN, Indonesia’s national power company, will provide primary grid power in 2025, and the site’s metallurgical lab is expected to be operational in early 2025.
Heap leach processing is planned to commence by late 2025, with the first gold production anticipated at the start of 2026.
